Use this application to reserve a motion hearing if your civil case is assigned to an Independent Calendar department.

User Agreement

  1. You understand that use of this application is optional, and you may instead contact the calendar clerk for your assigned department to schedule a motion hearing. Contact information for each department is available here.
  2. You understand that you must e-File a corresponding motion within 3 court days after making a reservation and that motion must include your reservation number on the first page, or your motion hearing will be vacated. See here for e-Filing information.
  3. You understand that e-Filing a Notice of Hearing or Motion without a supporting memorandum will result in your reservation being vacated. (refer to CRC 3.1113 & 3.1114)
  4. You understand that selecting the incorrect motion type may result in your motion hearing being vacated.
  5. You have reviewed and understand the law and motion rules of your assigned Civil department. Department rules are available here.
  6. Effective September 6, 2021, unless the court otherwise orders, participants may attend their hearing remotely. To see department rules regarding virtual hearings, as well as virtual hearing instructions, please click here.
  7. You understand that use of this application to reserve a hearing date does not alter or extend any statutory deadlines, including those relating to filing documents and giving notice. It is your sole responsibility to select a hearing date and submit the corresponding documents in compliance with the statutory requirements.
  8. You understand and agree that the Court reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any services provided on this web site and any conditions of use with or without notice.
